            Project Title: Experiments in Individual & Group Decision Making
        </h3><br>

        <p>
            This is research to help understand decision making in experiments using human subjects as
            participants. I understand that the entire experiment (including instructions) is expected to
            last less than 75 minutes, and that there is no conceivable physical or mental discomfort associated
            with participation.
        </p>

        <p>
            I will be paid at the end of the experiment using the <b>PayID</b> details that I will be asked to provide at
            the end of the experiment. The amount of money I will be paid will depend upon the decisions
            that I make. On average, participants are expected to earn between AU$15 and AU$30 per
            hour. My participation in the experiment is completely voluntary and I am free to leave the
            experiment at any time. If I decide to leave the experiment before its completion, I will be
            paid the <b>show-up fee of AU$5</b>. However, I will not receive any payment for my decisions in the
            experiment.
        </p>

        <p>
            I understand that the data from the experiment will be collected using randomly assigned
            identification numbers, so <b>my choices will always remain anonymous</b>. To receive my payment,
            the random identification number that I am assigned will be temporarily linked to my PayID details.
            However, this link, hence any identifying information, will be removed from the data before it
            is stored. I also understand that confidentiality of data will be preserved subject to any legal
            requirements. If, prior to processing the data, I do not wish for my data to be included in the
            project, I may request to have my decisions removed from the data set.
        </p>

        <p>
            In the unlikely event that I am a student of Prof Nisvan Erkal, Prof Lata Gangadharan and/or
            Professor Erte Xiao, I understand that the experiment is completely voluntary and that my
            decision to participate, as well as the outcome of this experiment, will have no impact on my
            grades or the student-lecturer/tutor relationship.
        </p>
